Stuart Senator Named a 2024 Top Antitrust Lawyer by the Daily Journal

Munger, Tolles & Olson partner Stuart Senator was recognized by the Daily Journal as a 2024 Top Antitrust Lawyer for his exceptional legal work in high-profile and landmark antitrust cases. This is the second year in a row he has been recognized by the publication.

Mr. Senator credited his post-graduate studies in philosophy for his passion for law, noting that “[during my studies] I explored the foundations of what constitutes a legitimate legal system and government.”

The publication recognized Mr. Senator for his work in defense of research-based pharmaceutical companies in cases seeking billions of dollars in damages for alleged delay in competition between brand name and generic drugs, often obtaining rulings or settlements that eliminated massive potential liability. Mr. Senator has navigated the intricate relationships among multiple parties – insurers, doctors, patients, pharmacies, etc. – to help shape precedents applicable across the pharmaceutical industry.
