Brad Brian and Jonathan Blavin Recognized by the Daily Journal as 2025 Leading Commercial Litigators

Munger, Tolles & Olson Firm Chair Brad Brian and partner Jonathan Blavin have been named 2025 Leading Commercial Litigators by the Daily Journal. This award recognizes the top litigation attorneys nationwide.

For the third year in a row, Brad was recognized for his litigation, investigations and trial work. His recent cases include notable wildfire litigation for PG&E in Northern California and for Hawaiian Electric Industries and Hawaiian Electric Company in litigation arising from the 2023 Maui wildfires. Among other accolades, the Daily Journal has previously recognized Brad and co-counsel with a 2024 CLAY award for their work on the Urquidi case challenging the Los Angeles County bail system. Brad also was named to the 2024 Top 100 Lawyers in California list for the 26th consecutive year.

Jonathan was recognized for his long-time representation of leading technology and media “companies confronting novel and challenging legal issues in the cyberlaw arena.” His work within the last year has included successfully defending Google against a suit from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. targeting vaccine misinformation policies, as well as a successful defense win in nationwide social media addiction litigation. Previously, Jonathan has been recognized by the Daily Journal as a Top Cyber Lawyer three years in a row.
