Munger, Tolles & Olson Partners Bethany Kristovich and Jordan Segall to Speak on Legal Malpractice Defense
Munger, Tolles & Olson partners Bethany Kristovich and Jordan Segall will be speakers in an upcoming program for Practising Law Institute (PLI), titled “Legal Malpractice Defense: Lessons From the Trenches.” The live one-hour briefing will be held on May 23 at 1:00 pm ET, with course materials available to registered attendees prior to the start of the program.
Ms. Kristovich and Mr. Segall will outline best practices for representing legal professionals in litigation and will discuss the challenges of representing law firms, how representing lawyers and law firms can shape approaches to litigation practice and how lawyer clients are perceived by the general public and jurors.
Ms. Kristovich’s practice is focused on complex civil litigation, with a particular emphasis in high-stakes trials and appeals, including in the professional responsibility, consumer protection, product defect and mass tort contexts. She has represented some of the nation’s largest companies, law firms and private equity firms in their most sensitive matters.
Mr. Segall’s practice is focused on commercial litigation in trial and appellate courts, with a particular focus on representing high technology and media companies and law firms. In addition to professional responsibility work, he focuses on digital privacy, trade secrets, copyright, consumer device litigation and other commercial disputes.
