Blanca Young and Bethany Kristovich Named 2024 Top Women Lawyers by the Daily Journal

Munger, Tolles & Olson partners Blanca Young and Bethany Kristovich were recognized as 2024 Top Women Lawyers by the Daily Journal. The annual list honors the top 100 women lawyers practicing across California.

Ms. Young is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on intellectual property disputes, False Claims Act matters and other complex litigation. Ms. Young was recognized for her recent work for entertainment clients such as Disney and Netflix serving as co-lead trial counsel in several high-profile copyright infringement cases. Ms. Young specializes in handling high-stakes cases often involving sensitive and/or technical subject matter. She enjoys the story-telling aspect of litigation, diving deeply into the facts and distilling complex concepts in ways that judges and juries can understand.

Ms. Kristovich was recognized for “resolving very big problems,” including in the mass tort, crisis litigation and legal malpractice contexts, and her focus on “figuring out ways to resolve the situation on a global basis,” whether that requires trying a case or series of cases, working through a novel settlement structure or winning key legal issues with a bold motion strategy. In her profile, Ms. Kristovich also discussed the importance of crafting a case strategy with an eye toward her client’s business goals. She is no stranger to recognition from the Daily Journal – this is her fifth year on the Top Women Lawyers list, she was named a 2024 Leading Commercial Litigator earlier this year and she was named to the Top 100 Lawyers in California in 2023.
