Miriam Kim Recognized by San Francisco Business Times Among 2024 Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business
Munger, Tolles & Olson partner Miriam Kim was named to San Francisco Business Times’ 2024 list of Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business. The list recognizes leaders who are influential in their industries as well as in their communities.
Ms. Kim handles complex civil litigation and high-stakes investigations with a focus on trade secrets and IP protection, false advertising and technology disputes. She has a particular interest in bridging the access to justice gap using generative artificial intelligence (AI) and considers her faith as her biggest motivation to serve others. “I’m cautiously optimistic about AI. It has the power to revolutionize industries and advance justice, but it also poses significant risks like bias, deepfakes, and IP and privacy concerns. As a litigator, I enjoy advising clients on harnessing AI’s benefits while mitigating its legal risks,” Ms. Kim said. “Whether it’s complex litigation, protecting my clients’ trade secrets, or promoting the use of AI in legal aid, my goal is to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives.”
