Carl Jiang is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Jiang was a law clerk to the Honorable Richard R. Clifton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and to the Honorable Edmond E. Chang of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Jiang also worked as an associate at a multinational law firm.
Mr. Jiang earned his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was a 2018 Paul & Daisy Soros New American Fellow, a co-founder for the Youth Justice Project, and a co-chair for the Clinical Student Board. He was an executive editor and managing editor of the Yale Law & Policy Review.
Mr. Jiang received an M.A. in education from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a B.A. in political science and philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Jiang taught English to seventh-graders in Las Vegas as part of the Teach for America program.
