Meghan Brosnahan is eDiscovery counsel in the San Francisco office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
Ms. Brosnahan’s eDiscovery and information governance experience includes advising companies and organizations on data loss prevention, litigation readiness, privacy, compliance, and data assurance matters. Her background includes privacy, technology, operations, strategy and tactics.
Prior to joining the firm, she was an information insurance consultant and held a leadership role at a major biotechnology corporation for its global eDiscovery and information governance program, including operations, long-term strategy, design, implementation, and process transformation.
Ms. Brosnahan also was the chief eDiscovery counsel and director of information governance at a multinational transportation company, where she managed global eDiscovery, records and information assets and launched and co-led the Information Governance Committee. She led the internal eDiscovery team, developed and consulted on discovery strategy with executive leadership, outside counsel, and subject matter experts in response to civil litigation, M&A collection and data rooms, criminal litigation, regulatory demands, and internal investigations. Before this role, she was the director of eDiscovery in the office of the general counsel for a large healthcare organization.
Ms. Brosnahan earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School and B.A. from the University of Texas, Austin, where she was a member of Sigma Tau Delta. She served as the committee chair for the Information Governance Committee for the Association of Corporate Counsel. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional and a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. She serves as a board member of two nonprofits.
