Samuel Allen is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
Mr. Allen’s practice focuses on complex litigation and internal investigations. He has extensive experience litigating commercial disputes and representing clients in response to government inquiries. His clients have included major government contractors and utilities, universities, technology companies and cultural institutions. Among other notable representations, Mr. Allen has helped lead the defense in several high-profile False Claims Act actions.
Mr. Allen was previously a summer associate at MTO, and served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Ralph D. Gants of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
Mr. Allen earned his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor on the Harvard Journal on Legislation and served in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in English and a minor in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to law school, he worked as a reporter for the Los Angeles Times.
