Steven Levick (he/him/his) is a corporate attorney in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
Mr. Levick’s practice touches on a wide array of corporate transactions and securities matters. His clients range from large, publicly traded businesses to private investment firms to some of the most notable family offices in the country. He represents clients structuring strategic investments across a variety of industries, including life sciences, insurance, retail, consumer technology and digital assets. He has also helps clients design and structure complex settlement agreements to resolve contentious litigation.
At the firm, Mr. Levick has maintained a focus on community service, volunteering as an attorney advisor to several aspiring law students from diverse backgrounds as they prepare to apply to law school as part of the MTO Fellows Program. He helped establish MTO’s partnership with Legal Education Access Pipeline, Inc. (LEAP), where he now serves as a board member. He also contributes and participates in the Food From the Bar campaign, an annual program that unites legal professionals across the country in combating child hunger, and the Paul Davis MTO Associate Fund, an associate-led fund that makes donations to charitable organizations in the Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington D.C. communities.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Levick earned his J.D. with a business law specialization from the UCLA School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif, named a Michael T. Masin Scholar, received Moot Court Honors, and served as senior editor of the UCLA Law Review. While in law school, he worked as a law clerk for Senator Dianne Feinstein and as a judicial extern to Judge Sandra S. Ikuta on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He also co-led UCLA Law’s Education Rights Clinic, advising students and families under the supervision of Public Counsel.
Before law school, Mr. Levick worked on the corporate strategy and planning team in the CEO’s office of one of the nation’s largest health insurers. He earned his B.S. in economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

- Nexus Capital Management in its acquisition of Lamps Plus, a retailer of lighting, ceiling fans and other home furnishing products with 35 stores throughout the Western U.S. along with a huge online business.
