Munger, Tolles & Olson Co-Managing Partner Malcolm Heinicke Honored For 12 Years of SFMTA Service
The city of San Francisco recognized Co-Managing Partner Malcolm Heinicke’s 12 years of service to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency with the dedication of the West Portal crossover, now known as the Malcolm Heinicke Crossover.
The city memorialized the dedication with a plaque, which highlights Mr. Heinicke’s tireless advocacy for transportation equity, innovation and customer-focused policies.
Mr. Heinicke was appointed by two mayors, Mayor Gavin Newsom and later Mayor Edwin Lee, to the board of directors of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency. During his tenure on the board, he served as board chairman and championed initiatives such as the car-free Market Street Project and Free Muni for Youth and People with Disabilities.
