Munger, Tolles & Olson is hosting a one-hour ethics CLE webinar that will focus on navigating the complexities in conducting internal investigations and the DOJ policies favoring corporate disclosure.

Investigations by government regulators into allegations of corporate misconduct are on the rise. In this environment, it is critical for companies to understand how to conduct internal investigations while minimizing disruptions to business as well as when disclosure to the government is appropriate.

This program will be hosted by Munger, Tolles & Olson partners Martin Estrada, John Schwab and Blanca Young as they discuss the following topics:

  • Conducting internal investigations, including employee interviews and the mechanics of the Upjohn warning, ethical considerations in interviewing employees, and waiver issues.
  • DOJ policies encouraging disclosure generally and, more specifically, with regard to the FCPA, and how to maintain privilege notwithstanding disclosure.
  • Practical considerations in conducting internal investigations in light of the ever-present possibility of government disclosure.
