Munger Tolles Associate Jessica Laird and Retired Partner Jerry Roth Organize Panel on Intersection of Gender and The Rule of Law
Litigation associate Jessica Laird will be moderating an upcoming panel, titled “Promoting a Gendered Approach to Economic Development and the Rule of Law” as part of the second annual Rule of Law Webathon on May 10-11, organized by the American Bar Association, International Association of Lawyers and International Association of Young Lawyers.
Ms. Laird and retired MTO partner Jerry Roth worked with the California Lawyers Association to create the panel, which will focus on the relationship between addressing gender inequities and protecting the Rule of Law. The speakers will explore how barriers to women’s economic success can affect broader aspects of economic and political instability.
The panel will be live streamed on Youtube on May 10 at 7 p.m. EDT and will be available to the public internationally.
Moderated by Ms. Laird, the panel will feature speakers: Oyango Snell, chief executive officer and executive director of The California Lawyers Association; Aaron Schildhaus, founding partner of Martorello Schildhaus LLC; Harumi Hata, shareholder at Buchalter; and Pauline Wright, partner at Donnellan & Co.
