Munger Tolles Firm Chair Brad Brian Among Top 100 Lawyers in Los Angeles
On May 12, the Los Angeles Business Journal named Firm Chair Brad D. Brian to its inaugural Top 100 Lawyers list.
Mr. Brian was recognized for his legal achievements throughout his more than 40 year career handling some of the most complex cases and investigations nationally on behalf of clients such as PG&E, MGM Resorts International, The Kobe Bryant Estate, Transocean, DoubleLine Capital and Fortress Investment Group.
In addition to his significant litigation work, Mr. Brian was also recognized for his philanthropic work and community involvement, which has included serving as president of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, chair of the RAND Institute for Civil Justice’s Board of Overseers, chair of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation and vice-chair of the Joffrey Ballet.
Mr. Brian was honored alongside other outstanding legal professionals during a private ceremony at the ASU California Center.
Mr. Brian is an accomplished trial lawyer, who has garnered numerous accolades over the span of his career including being named one of the top 18 lawyers of the 2011-20 decade by the Daily Journal.
Most recently, Mr. Brian was inducted to the Lawdragon Hall of Fame alongside the nation’s most distinguished legal talent including retired U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland.
Mr. Brian previously served as managing partner and was the first person to be elected as firm chair in the firm’s history in 2019.
