Munger, Tolles & Olson Achieves Mansfield Certification Plus for 2023
Once again Munger, Tolles & Olson has attained Mansfield Certification Plus status from Diversity Lab. This is the sixth consecutive year the firm has received the highest level of certification.
MTO was recognized for its demonstrable commitment to moving the needle on diversity in law firm leadership following completion of a rigorous 12-month certification period with built-in measurement, transparency and accountability mechanisms.
Mansfield Certification Plus, awarded by Diversity Lab, measures the structural changes and steps the firm has taken over the past year to ensure our paths to leadership – including lateral hiring, client pitch teams, promotions, appointments and more – are open and transparent.
Advancement processes and leadership role descriptions at the firm are written, clear and accessible. This is part of a larger effort MTO has undertaken to ensure that a broad slate of talent is considered for opportunities.
The “Plus” designation indicates that not only have steps been taken to ensure inclusivity in leadership opportunities, but also that measured progress has been made. Only half of the Certified firms achieved the honor this year.
