Munger, Tolles & Olson Firm Chair Brad Brian Named a 2023 Top 100 Lawyer in Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Business Journal has named Firm Chair Brad Brian to its Top 100 Lawyers list for a second time. The annual award recognizes the top legal practitioners in Los Angeles. 

Mr. Brian was recognized for his legal achievements throughout his over 40-year career as a litigator and trial attorney. In addition to his focus on handling the most complex cases and investigations nationally on behalf of renowned clients, Mr. Brian was also recognized for his philanthropic work, community involvement and pro bono work, including a recent challenge to Los Angeles County’s bail schedule. 

In May 2023, Brad, a team of MTO attorneys and co-counsel secured a historic preliminary injunction, pausing the enforcement of Los Angeles County’s cash bail schedule and eliminating cash bail for individuals arrested on most low-level, non-violent offenses.
