Munger, Tolles & Olson Attorneys Rose Ehler and Grace Davis Fisher to Join Panels at 2024 Intellectual Property Institute
We are pleased to share that Munger, Tolles & Olson attorneys Rose Ehler and Grace Davis Fisher will join other IP professionals at the 2024 USC Intellectual Property Institute, which will take place on March 18-19 in Santa Monica, California.
The institute will gather national speakers and include discussions of emerging issues and best practices in copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret and related fields. Federal judges, prominent government officials, leading academics, in-house counsel and top practitioners will engage in two days of learning and networking.
Grace will moderate the March 18 panel titled “Securing Your Seat at the Table,” with women speakers including leaders of major law firms and in-house departments and the Honorable Holly J. Fujie of the Los Angeles Superior Court. The panelists will discuss how women attorneys can navigate the legal field and their path into legal leadership and ways to overcome the inherent challenges women in law face.
Rose will moderate a discussion with Suzy Wilson, General Counsel and Associate Copyright Register at the U.S. Copyright Office during the March 19 panel titled “Copyright Office Updates.” The panelists will discuss policy issues raised by AI technology and other matters keeping the U.S. Copyright Office busy, including the Copyright Act’s Section 1201 triennial rulemaking and an update of the Office’s litigation and other work.
