Munger, Tolles & Olson Elevates Four Lawyers to Partner
Munger, Tolles & Olson is pleased to announce the promotion of Anne Conley, Colin Devine, David Moreshead and Giovanni Saarman González to partner, effective January 1, 2025.

Anne Conley’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation and client counseling, with an emphasis on the legal challenges faced by the media, entertainment and technology industries. She also has significant experience representing a wide range of clients in appeals and antitrust matters. “The lawyers, professionals and clients of Munger, Tolles & Olson inspire me with their legal excellence and dedication to serving our communities,” Ms. Conley said. “I began my legal career here as a summer associate and am honored to now join the partnership. I look forward to continuing the tradition of deep civic engagement and solving our clients’ most challenging matters with creative and effective lawyering.”
Colin Devine’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation, internal investigations and white collar criminal defense. Mr. Devine defends companies facing high-stakes, multidistrict litigation, mass torts and class actions across a range of industries. “I am very excited to join Munger, Tolles & Olson’s partnership,” said Mr. Devine. “I look forward to continuing the firm’s legacy of solving our clients’ most complex issues, and I’m honored to do it alongside such brilliant and accomplished colleagues that carry on the firm’s stellar reputation.”
David Moreshead’s practice focuses primarily on labor and employment litigation and counseling. He has litigated numerous class and representative wage and hour matters as well as a wide variety of single plaintiff wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation and harassment claims. “I joined Munger, Tolles & Olson because I knew it was a special place,” Mr. Moreshead said. “In addition to the firm’s unwavering commitment to provide early responsibility to junior attorneys and to offer the highest quality client service on cutting-edge matters, it is the people with whom I work each day—our clients and MTO colleagues—who have made me so proud to be an MTO attorney. Giovanni Saarman González represents clients in federal and state courts and administrative proceedings before government agencies, including the California Public Utilities Commission. He focuses his practice on representing and advising clients operating in regulated industries and is a key member of the firm’s energy practice. “Munger, Tolles & Olson has provided me a professional home to work on some of the most sophisticated and challenging legal and regulatory problems facing our energy, utility and other clients,” said Mr. Saarman González. “It has been an immense privilege to begin my career practicing alongside such intelligent, thoughtful and talented colleagues, and I am elated and humbled to join the partnership and to continue that work.”
