Munger, Tolles & Olson Partners Brad Brian and Bethany Kristovich Named 2024 Leading Commercial Litigators
Munger, Tolles & Olson Firm Chair Brad Brian and Partner Bethany Kristovich have been named 2024 Leading Commercial Litigators by the Daily Journal. Now in its second year, this award recognizes the top litigation attorneys nationwide.
For the second year, Mr. Brian was recognized for his high-profile criminal and civil litigation work, which has included litigation involving the Maui wildfires, civil litigation involving Activision Blizzard and the California Civil Rights Department, as well as a pro bono case challenging Los Angeles County’s bail schedule. Mr. Brian’s recent litigation work has earned him a flurry of awards and honors in 2023. He was named a Top 100 Lawyer (for the 25th consecutive year), a Top 100 Lawyer in Los Angeles and a Leader of Influence by the Los Angeles Business Journal, and a General Litigation Trailblazer by the National Law Journal, among other recognitions.
Ms. Kristovich was named a Leading Commercial Litigator for her recent work negotiating an $88 million settlement from the city of Austin after condemning her client’s lease to operate part of the city’s airport, and for her work on behalf of a law firm facing a malpractice suit brought by a former hotel owner client, among other matters. Last fall, Ms. Kristovich also won a motion to dismiss a major hotel client from a proposed class action and settled six lawsuits related to the 2021 Dixie wildfire. In addition to being recognized as one of the nation’s top litigators, Ms. Kristovich was named to the Daily Journal’s Top Women Lawyers in 2023 for the fourth consecutive year, and to the Top 100 Lawyers in California list alongside Mr. Brian.
