Munger, Tolles & Olson Ranks Third for Average Pro Bono Hours in The American Lawyer’s 2024 Pro Bono Scorecard

Munger, Tolles & Olson ranked No. 3 in total number of pro bono hours in The American Lawyer’s 2024 Pro Bono Scorecard, which is published annually and tracks pro bono work performed by both U.S.-based and international lawyers across Am Law 200 firms. The scorecard reported insights, including firms having totaled 5.15 million hours in 2023—2.8% more than 2022—over a range of issues on behalf of veterans, migrants, members of the LGBTQ+ community and the incarcerated.

MTO lawyers averaged 136.8 hours of pro bono work in 2023, the third highest for any firm. Overall, MTO was ranked No. 6 in the Pro Bono Scorecard.
